My Bachelor’s degree is in Business and Operations Management from K-State.  While I was obtaining my degree, I worked full-time in a retail setting, earning my customer service badge of honor.  After college,  I found myself in the  Kansas City Metro in a food business management setting for about a year.  After that I “happened” into a position with a local Commercial Real Estate firm, and I worked with that company for about 5 years and learned so much valuable information that really led to where I am today.  I completed my MBA in Finance while I was working there and got licensed in real estate in both Kansas and Missouri.

The experience that I have gained over the past 10 years has really helped shaped me into the professional I am today.  I found out what I truly enjoyed doing, and that was helping businesses and entrepreneurs in all facets of their businesses.  I love helping solve complex problems and putting policies and procedures in place to ensure efficient operations.  I feel passionately about finance and love helping business owners make sense of their numbers, empowering them to continue chasing their own dreams.

When I was little, I never really had an AHA moment of “that’s what I want to be when I grow up”.  I just always knew that I wanted to help people and I wanted to change the world! Math and numbers were always easy for me, and I got such a rush from solving difficult problems and I am so glad that I have found a way to combine those passions into a career. I have always been described as strong willed, or as I like to say, passionate, and when I set my mind to doing something, there's little that can stand in my way.

When I am not solving business problems or crunching numbers, you can find me snuggling my two dogs, Moose and Marten, and telling them that they are the goodest boys.  My Son continues to be my inspiration for chasing my dreams and always encouraging me to reach for the stars.
